CHOCOLATES AND ROSES

Ahh yes! The day of love.
A perfect day to celebrate your significant other and buy gifts just to show someone how much they mean to you.
It's quite interesting to observe how people push heaven and earth to get the best for their loved ones based on what is socially acceptable or recommended. The idea is that certain things or items are a symbol or love and undying affection. It's more about grand gestures and the grander the gesture, the more the love.
Now the issue comes in when these 'symbols of love' don't exactly fit into your budget and sometimes not even in the category of things your beloved considers important or affectionate.
The fact is; love shouldn't be something that you celebrate once a year, it's something you celebrate everyday. Therefore it's not about the price tag or anything money can buy. Valentine's is a day to reinstate the sentiment and remember how far your relationship has grown and to celebrate your achievements together. This should be done in a way that doesn't strain you and makes your lover happy.
If you don't celebrate the one you love everyday,I don't think you should celebrate valentine's either, because what have you done the last couple of months that is worth celebrating?
Remember it's the thought that counts, not the size of the wallet.
So this valentine's, try do something different.  Cook a romantic dinner , make your own valentine's basket from scratch,go for a picnic or road trip......
As long as both of you are happy. Remember love in itself is priceless and so is your loved one: so treat them as such.

A happy valentine's to you all.💞
